Go behind the scenes of Linework at COLT: September 9

You’re invited to a tour of the Central Ohio Lineworker Training (COLT) facility on September 9!

This is a rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of linework, view COLT’s incredible facilities, and learn about the training and education that your Consolidated lineworkers go through to keep your power on safely.

Event Details

  • Date: Wednesday, September 9
  • Time: 4-6 p.m.
  • Address: 5265 OH-95 Mount Gilead, Ohio 43338.

Experts from COLT will provide a tour and demonstration, and we will end the evening with time for connection and refreshments. If you have a high-school-aged (or older) child who is interested in pursuing linework, we encourage you to register and bring them with you as your guest so they can get an up-close look at what it takes to become a lineworker!

About COLT

COLT is a nationally recognized training program for apprentice and journeyman lineworker training. The program offers in-depth, hands-on training specifically designed for electric co-ops in Ohio and West Virginia. Their campus is located right next to our office in Mount Gilead, and it includes a 16-acre pole farm and a 7,200-square-foot indoor training facility.

Registration

Space is very limited! Members can register for up to two spots per household. For safety purposes, young children cannot attend the tour. Children must be high school aged or older to join their parent as a registered guest.
