Board of Trustees

Consolidated Cooperative is locally owned, locally operated, and democratically controlled by the member-owners we serve. As a member, you have the power to elect representation to serve on the Consolidated Board of Trustees. Your trustees are responsible for governing the cooperative in ways that work for the best interests of all Consolidated’s members.

Co-ops like us operate on the “one member, one vote” principle – that means that all members get one vote for their representation, regardless of how many accounts they hold. This is just one of the many ways that co-ops operate differently from investor-owned utilities.

2025 Elections and Nominations

Thank you to everyone who participated in our 2025 Trustee Elections! Election results were first announced at our annual meeting on June 24:

District 1: Doug Loudenslager (Nominees: Kent Kramer and Doug Loudenslager).

District 2: Megan Forman-Karbler (unopposed).

District 3: Tim Bachelder (unopposed).

An Elected Body that Serves on Behalf of All Members

Your trustees are responsible for establishing policies, seeing initiatives through and approving items like work plans, budget, and rates. They ensure that Consolidated operates with the established principles on which it was built, and they maintain its strategic direction.

Consolidated’s Board of Trustees is composed of nine members, one from each district within our service territory. If you are not sure what district you live in, click here to view the district service map.

Who can run for Consolidated’s Board of Trustees?

Any Consolidated member who meets our Qualifications for Nomination is eligible to run for our Board of Trustees within their district. Each year, we hold elections for three of our nine districts. The qualifying members who receive the most nominations and confirm their willingness to serve are included on the election ballot.
