Community Involvement

Our commitments to the community.

Consolidated Electric Cooperative has a long-standing commitment to making a positive difference in the community through volunteer efforts, donations and active community involvement.

We make contributions to a wide variety of important community programs and organizations—from national organizations like United Way and the American Red Cross to the local youth programs within schools. In addition, we’re very proud of the involvement of our employees in the community. You will find them coaching Little League, soccer or T-ball; helping with school programs such as Ohio Reads and Junior Achievement; participating in United Way, Relay for Life and walk-a-thons to earn funds for worthy causes; and even out helping clean up our roadways through the Adopt-a-Highway program. We also offer use of our meeting facilities to local nonprofit organizations for free. We feel it’s one way we can support the valuable, worthwhile work they do.
